It took me a long time to finally watch this
movie, although I've had it (borrowed from my MIL) for MONTHS!
She kept asking if I'd watched it, but to be truthful, I was so
worried that someone died in the end, that I wouldn't do it. I'm
NOT a fan of death in movies (even if it's a good ending). I
just do NOT like it. If I'm going to watch a movie I want to be
uplifted, giggle, laugh OUT loud, cry, and laugh some more. I
want to walk away feeling happy. Silly? Maybe. Dumb? Maybe.
Either way I don't really care. That's just how I am and you can
ask my Mother, that's how I've always been. LOL
So. The Notebook. It. Was.
Phenomenal. I plan to watch it over and over...but honestly,
I'll probably cut before the ending because it's a bit sad,
although GOOD nonetheless. :) Ya gotta watch it. I've added a
clip at top so you can get a feeling of the entire thing, but
that cannot take the place of watching it. Go. Go right now and
get it!! :)
The reds and blacks reminded me of the movie.
She seemed to wear them a lot. Lots of lampwork on this, big
crystals, bits of vintage glass and green pearls... lots going
on. It's a whimsical Spring bracelet! The charm shoe is a
vintage heel and really brings back the look from The
Notebook.
I was lucky. I married who I wanted to marry.
There wasn't any pressure of money or anything like that, just
that we were in love. We were. We are. I adored how this movie
made that point. That, no matter what kind of income you'll have
in life, the only true thing that matters in the end is love.
