This is our life.
It was a pleasure to create this little photo log of Jennifer's family.
Sometimes, as Mother's we get lost in the daily tasks and find no time to enjoy the moment.
That's how it has been for me over the years, but as the kids have aged it's been easier.
It is my hope that we can stop and take time to realize how special life is.
* * *
In the last year I've gotten to know Jennifer
through her Aunt Suzi (a wonderful customer who is now a
friend). I can't tell you how much I have loved these
relationships. Our emails, sometimes short and sometimes so long
they take ten minutes to read, have been highlights on so many
days. As women we need to have these sorts of relationships so
we stay "connected" to adult conversations... from "what kind of
detergent do you use?" to "I wonder if Sanjaya is finallllly
going to be voted off tonight!!" These may be silly things to
chat about but after the mundane days we can sometimes have raising
children, they can be THE highlights nonetheless. It's in
these moments when we can giggle like teenagers and feel close
despite the many miles that separate us.
Take time to vent to a good friend, because if
they are truly a good friend they will be there to just listen.
Remember to let the sun shine on your face and be happy about
the rain. Try not to stress over the small things because in the
end, they're all small things. Let the blessings of life fill your heart even in the
smallest of tasks. It will soon be over and we'll be longing for
those memories when our family was young. Life will pass by so
quickly...and this is our life so hold it dear.

I love these stones. Aquamarine (triple grade,
no inclusions) faceted, side-drilled teardrops that are
absolutely pristine. An entire strand was used along with triple
grade Lotus freshwater button pearls in a soft creamy white. An
adorable floral Marcasite toggle (inlay crystal) finishes it
off. This was a custom piece, but can be made similar with other
stones like many of my Simply Brilliant bracelets.
