Ahh, these turned out so beautifully, I can't say it enough.
This bracelet was a part of a set of three, three different
bracelets for daughter's for Valentine's Day.
About five months ago their mother wrote to me, asking me to
make some very personal charm and lampwork bracelets. Of course
I was thrilled to make them. It took a while to compile all the
various charms, ordering them from all over the place, finding
just the right style to fit the bracelet. As I began to compile
them, I wanted them to be personal, this wasn't in our original
plan and it's one of my favorite parts about custom work. When a
customer is "open" to my artistic style and allows me to just
create. The silver puffed heart felt right on each of the
bracelets and so they were added, along with some other
things... the Karen Hill sweet pea charm (right next to the
heart), and the pearl at the toggle...
Their Mom chose each of their charms. She knows her daughter's
so well and wanted them to have something that they could keep
and wear forever, always remembering their Mother's love. What a
wonderful thing.
They will receive them on Valentine's Day 2009. I can't wait to
find out how they liked them!
The base price of this bracelet is $189.99 (the "main"
components of the bracelet...beads, charms, silver pieces) but
all the CHARMS would be priced at current market value and added
to the final cost. If you're wondering the final price of this
bracelet, it was roughly $340.00. This particular bracelet has a
handmade "official" Yankees sterling charm, they are about
$40.00 each.

AMANDA
DANIELLE

Left to right, charms:
Initial "K", teddy bear, Yankees charm, dance shoes

this photo was taken in the sunlight... you'll see a difference
in color... this is what it will look like outside...
Left to right, charms:
Sand dollar, music note, official Disney charm of Peter Pan, "I
love You" charm, and camera
(by the way, the Sweet pea charm was an afterthought and
added after the photo had been taken... so like the other two
bracelets, Kristy's bracelet DOES have a flower by the heart. :)
I didn't forget, in case you're curious)
The first song, "I Hope You Dance" was dedicated to the girls
by their Mother.
