When a customer asked if I would consider designing a bracelet
for some beads she had purchased I was so flattered. This is one
of four sets I designed for her.
The blue-aqua pillow beads with goldstone running through is
stunning, and reminded me of the ocean. There are small charms
on each of the chunks (look below for close-ups), an "S" rope
toggle that gives you a reminder of a sea net, Swarovski
crystals in copper, a deep blue topaz, and silk (a dreamy
color), aqua quartz faceted rondelles and rounds (10mm), topaz
flower glass cups, polymer clay roses, and small acorn pearls in
bronze and honey.
Honestly, when I first opened the box with the sets of beads and
I saw these it made my heart dance. I can't describe how lovely
they are in words, but it makes you think of the ocean right
away...as if you're looking down into the water and you see the
sun shining through to the ocean's floor...
Originally I had picked a different song for this but that was
before it was finished. The tropical feel made me decide on
Kokomo. It's easy to listen to, and it puts you in a different
place.
