Findings Information
In many of my emails I am asked where I buy beads (although I
make about 80% of them), purchase findings or just things I
discover along the way. While it is not the practice for a
magician to tell how his tricks "work", I do not wish to simply
hand over the sites it has taken me years (literally) to
accumulate. Please do not take this as being rude, that isn't
the case, but it just isn't good business sense.
Having said that, the bead-related links I have provided (at
the bottom of this page) are those that I just had to share and
also sites that I have found to be quite reputable, not to
mention an excellent source for all things beading! I hope these
sites prove helpful to you as they have to me over the years.
If you are looking to find good quality lampwork beads by
SELF-REPRESENTING makers (meaning, those beads that are created
ONE-BY-ONE and KILN-ANNEALED instead of mass-produced beads made
in China), then you'll need to look at
EBay or
Etsy. Once there, type in
LAMPWORK BEADS and then change the sorting to "HIGHEST FIRST".
This will sort out all the low-end beads and give you only the
finest out there.

You can find great sites by searching on
Google or by purchasing any
number of lapidary journals or magazines at your local grocery
store or book seller.
I hope this information has been helpful. Thanks so much and
happy beading!
