My husband was walking by as I was editing these photos and he saw the title "Moonlight Kiss" and disagreed with my choice. He said it should be called "Treasures of the Heart"... hmmm...well I suppose it could be called that but that wasn't what was running through my head at the time. There's a reason I chose Moonlight Kiss...

Have you ever seen It's a Wonderful Life? There's a part in the movie where George tells Mary he would lasso the moon for her as they're standing under the stars, and then he gives her a sweet kiss. It's an endearing scene...and that's where the beginning of this bracelet started.

With a vintage sterling hair comb (the kind your Grandmother might have used), an old-fashioned hat with little flowers running about and a ribbon at the back, two vintage keys, and a filigree scrolled sterling bead (toward the right side). Putting it all together  you get a feeling of that 1946 movie, It's a Wonderful Life.

I hope you like this one...it's a custom piece. The deep burgandy and olive green give that feeling of Christmas which again ties into my movie and song (from Serendipity, "Moonlight Kiss").

Lotus freshwater pearls in a pearly green, glass flower cups in olive, burgandy polymer clay roses in two sizes with leaves, gorgeous lampwork beads with veined leaves and a Marcasite toggle in a vintage swirl design. Beautiful.
