And so begins my obsession with pink... from the
ceiling to the walls to the drapes and the computer. I am in love
with PINK.
Below, you'll find lots of photos of my studio area in the upstairs
of my house. This room used to be my son's room, but he asked
to take the guest bedroom instead because this room had "too much
light". LOL No kidding. I was thrilled to switch with him, because
I didn't care for the darker guest room, not enough light being in
the back of the house.

This is where I do all of my building work. I like how the sunshine
comes in brightly, giving me lots of great light.
In the doors behind my workspace, I house extra beads, bags, tools
etc that I don't need unless I run out, basically "extra" stuff.

This is my little Jack-Jack, all ready to work! :) Underneath the
pink towel are my current projects, but Jack-Jack kept wanting to
"eat"
them so I kept it covered for this. LOL In the stacked trays, which
are children's food trays I found at Wal-Mart for a dollar each,
you'll
find all my bits and pieces that end up in my creations. I am
constantly using these trays, if you ever come upon them, let me
know!
I need about ten more, maybe fifteen. (isn't jack cute?! lol)

The above is my frit shelf that Jeff made for me, so handy, that
thing. My presses, love my presses!
Peg boards where I stick this and that so I don't lose them. :)

I suppose you could call this my bragging wall? LOL I decided to put
up photos of my own work so that when people stop in to see and
buy from me, they could get a sense of my style. :) I like it. All
of the glass jars are filled with gorgeous, colorful soft glass
rods, my
obsession for sure. The "unit" beneath the glass rods isn't staying,
it's used to put jewelry in but I never use it so it's going to go.

A good view of my crowded, but useful room. From this view you can
see my tank and concentrator. There's other stuff you
can't see too, like my HH torch that I use from time to time.

Same view, other side of the room.

My torch area. The crazy thing right in front is called a Creation
Station. It took some getting used to, but now I couldn't work
without it.
I put pink wash clothes on the handles because it's soft and it
helps when the glass spits at me too. The big bowl of water in the
back is
useful when I make mistakes, I just toss the mandrel into the bowl.
When I need to cool tools down, I just make a quick dip and it gets
the
job done pretty well. I keep all my shorty rods in glass jars and
use them for pulling stringers. The porcelain white jars are used
for frit,
the same goes for the blue glass jars too. That large mixing bowl
filled with rice and mandrels is how all beads begin. :)

Jack-Jack fell asleep in this position. LOL! I had to take a pix of
him, isn't this a riot? He wanted to hide amongst all the beadies, I
guess? LOL
